Chelsea will play Arsenal in the FA Cup finals after the Blues beat Manchester United 3-1 in Sunday’s semi-final at Wembley Stadium.
Two howlers from David de Gea settled the contest. De Gea should have kept out Olivier Giroud’s close-range flick deep into first-half injury time. And the United goalkeeper let Mason Mount’s long-range strike get past him into the net in the second half. United captain Harry Maguire scored an own goal before Bruno Fernandes scored a consolation with a penalty.
It was a first defeat in 20 games for United, who never looked like getting back into the game.
