Shock as Kenyan hacks UK firm email, steals and ships Sh43m excavators from India

In what looks like a movie, detectives are struggling to comprehend how a Kenyan managed to steal excavators worth Sh43 millions from India and ship them to the country.
This comes after officers from Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) recovered the excavators at Changamwe in Mombasa.
According to the detectives, Nobert Njeru and his accomplices managed to fraudulently ship the steam shovels after hacking the email of a London-based company and placing an order.
“Excavators worth Sh43 million have been recovered at Changamwe by detectives after being fraudulently shipped from India. The shipment happened after fraudsters hacked the email of a London-based Company and placed an order for the machines,” DCI said on its Twitter handle
According to detectives, the shipment was done by JCB International who upon delivering the goods contacted the brother company in Kenya for payment- it’s then that they learnt the company doesn’t deal with such goods.
Investigations commenced and led to Njeru’s arrest and the recovery of Excavators.
