President Uhuru Kenyatta has advised young men across the country to seduce women in a respectful manner if they want to be taken seriously.
The head of state who was speaking in Ongata Rongai during the launch of the second phase of the Standard Gauge Railway (SGR) gave young men free dating advice during his speech.
President Kenyatta cautioned men against disrespecting women and instead told them to employ respectful seduction tactics to make their intentions known to the women that they want to start a relationship with.
In doing so, he said young men should always be open to the prospect of their overtures being rejected.
“If you are interested in a woman, you don’t disrespect them. Seduce them slowly, if you succeed that’s good, if you don’t try elsewhere,” he said amid cheers from the crowd.
President Uhuru’s advice could have been as a result of the many cases of women being killed or raped for rejecting men’s advances.
The President said women have equal rights as men and should be accorded the dignity they deserve as human beings.
