Nyoro wants orders barring him from reshuffling Kiambu cabinet set aside

Kiambu Deputy Governor James Nyoro has sought legal redress after he was barred from reshuffling county Kiambu cabinet.
Nyoro, who succeeded Governor Ferdinard Waititu in the acting capacity, seeks to get the greenlight to make changes to the cabinet after he was stopped from the same.
He has now said that he is not able to deliver on his services because of the cabinet.
Through his lawyer Kibe Mungai, Nyoro wants an earlier ruling barring him from undertaking a cabinet reshuffle set aside saying he is out to deliver on the promises he made to the residents when he was given the mandate to assume office.
In earlier ruling, Justice Onesmus Makau barred the deputy governor from making any changes in the government on the grounds that he was only acting as a governor. Are frustrating his efforts to restructure the government.
“In view of the foregoing, the proceedings herein should be stayed and the conservatory orders granted pending inter parties hearing,” said Mungai.
Waititu has been barred from accessing the office as a result of grafting cases against him.
