Joho’s silence on ferry tragedy worries Kenyans


Kenyans are asking the whereabouts of Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho two days since the tragic events at the Likoni ferry channel where a woman and her daughter drowned in the Indian Ocean.
The loudness of Joho’s silence on the tragedy has seen Kenyans wonder what has come of the governor in whose county the incident occurred.
Despite his silence on the matter, Joho has been active on twitter even wishing his followers a happy new month of October.
“HAPPY October to you all my dear friends. Wish you a happy new month with lots of fulfilments and blessings,” tweeted Governor Joho.
On Monday night, Governor Joho on Monday night watching Manchester United, Arasenal clash if his tweeter post is anything to go by.
“This man @Aubameyang7 #MUNARS,” Joho tweeted midway through the match after the striker scored a controversial equalizer against United.
Mariam Kigenda, 35, with her 4-year-old daughter, Amanda Mutheu drowned on Sunday evening after their car reversed off a ferry at the Likoni channel and plunged into the Indian Ocean.
