High-end vehicles stolen in UK, South Africa impounded in Kenya

High-end vehicles reported to have been stolen overseas and smuggled into the country have been impounded.
The cars, three Range Rovers and three Mercedes Benz were reportedly stolen in South Africa and the UK respectively.
One of the Range Rovers is the vehicle believed to have been stolen from the United Kingdom.
Initial investigations indicate that the other Range Rover was registered as Toyota Probox.
The other vehicles had been processed as semi-trailers.
DCI said the high-end vehicles will be returned to their original countries after being processed by the National Transport and Safety Authority and the Kenya Revenue Authority.
“We will not allow cross-border stealing in Kenya. No one will enjoy the sweat of others while in another country,” said the DCI.
