DCI: Arrested Kenyan woman could be behind murder of Dutch tycoon

Director of Criminal Investigations (DCI) George Kinoti has said missing Netherland citizen Tob Cohen could be dead.
This comes after the arrest of his estranged wife Sarah Wairimu Kamotho on Wednesday at her Kitisuru home.
Ms Kamotho was grilled at the DCI headquarters on Kiambu Road before being taken to Muthaiga Police Station.
Kinoti said Ms Kamotho is being treated as the main suspect in the Cohen’s disappearance and possible murder.
He said serious investigations are underway and Ms Kamotho will be detained to assist them to unravel the mysterious disappearance.
Mr Cohen, a businessman who has been in Kenya for over 30 years was reportedly picked by unknown people at his home between July 19 and July 20 this year.
“He was picked on July 20 in the afternoon and driven off in a white car while carrying only a briefcase,” some of the employees said.
Cohen and Ms Kamotho were embroiled in a vicious divorce case, at the centre of which was a multi-million shilling property, during the days leading up to his disappearance.
He had also on July 12, 2019, filed an assault case against his estranged wife, during which he also cited continuous harassment and denial of his conjugal rights by the woman.
