Willy Paul dismisses critics, says he is still a gospel artiste

Singer Willy Paul has hit out on those faulting him for changing from gospel to secular music saying salvation is a personal thing.
Willy Paul maintained that he was still a gospel artiste and that his latest secular songs have got nothing to do with his faith.
“I started as a gospel artiste and has never turned back, but this does not stop me from composing and singing any song,” the artiste told an online platform.
Willy who recently released a song with Jamaican female singer Alaine titled Shado Mado has been on a warpath with a section of his fans who have accused him of ditching gospel music for secular ones.
But the artiste has dismissed those faulting him for being judgmental for no apparent reason.
“Let Kenyans stop judging me on matters religion and salvation, I know my God better than them,” he said.
